Upset! Reverse roles!! Break conventions!!!
Starting from next season, Energie is inviting everybody to change attitude, to scream out their ideas, to look around in every corner and scribble their thoughts with indelible ink… no middle course, only black and white! So, please, people start getting ready to “Make noise!”
The first act of the Energie-Make Noise campaign rebels and lives through music, choosing the British band Rubber Kiss Goodbye to tell about its next Fall/Winter 2012-2013 collection, thus coupling the denim and urban-style world of the brand with new talents of the British rock scene.
Rubber Kiss Goodbye is the band of Tara Ferry, son of the great Bryan Ferry, and his old friends Oliver and Peter. Their long-awaited debut album will be on sale starting from next summer. They have been playing together since school and held their first concert in London in 2008. Last year they played with Brian Ferry on his world tour.
Energie appointed the Swedish photographer Alex Lindhal to follow Tara and his friends in the house where they live, eat and sleep. The result of this campaign is made up by lots of shots telling us about music, friends sharing their passion for rock and fashion, rebounding guitars and synths, rebel tufts and sneakers.
The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, the instruments are always ready to catch new songs; and when there’s a need for more inspiration, the streets of London offer the scenery for this original photography project.
The black and white pictures remind of the indie-rock groups backstage, identifying and exalting the spirit of the Energie collection, for an independent and unmistakable style, going beyond mere seasonal trends.
